Morgana Le Fay is a powerful sorceress from Arthurian legend.

Mythical Background[]

Early works featuring Morgana do not elaborate her character beyond her role as a fay or magician. She was most famous for being a major antagonist to King Arthur and Queen Guinevere.

Morgana is said to be the daughter of Arthur's mother, the Lady Igraine, and her first husband, Gorlois, Duke of Cornwall, so that Arthur (son of Igraine and Uther Pendragon) is her half-brother. She has at least two elder sisters, Elaine and Morgause and has close ties to both. In Thomas Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur and elsewhere, she is married, unhappily, to King Urien of Gore and Ywain is her son.

Attitude and Appearance[]

Morgana is a strikingly beautiful woman. She has been described as looking as if she was "chiseled from stone by the hand of the Creator himself" and has an icy, regal bearing that sweeps through any room she enters. She is also startlingly evil and twisted, believing that she is the zenith of...well...everything. Her opinion on her own perfection is very evident in her actions; she will twist anything and everything to have her own way and is as cold hearted as the statue she is compared to. She does have a sense of humor, however; and will often times torture or curse a poor individual as a means of a bit of entertainment.

Dealings with TARP[]

A powerful adversary of TARP, Morgana has tried numerous times to destroy them, finding them disgusting, unnatural, and impure, and is one of TARP's few recurring enemies. Seems to have an obsession with possessing people. Often, clashes will occur in more magical settings such as: Narnia, Xyzzy Library, and books of Arthurian Legend.
